This project is close to our hearts as Bolta Rece Sibiu is not just a restaurant. It is a historic landmark cherished by both locals and visitors in Sibiu.
The brief was simple: keep it classic, elegant, and timeless.
Thus, we began by diving deep into the history of Bolta Rece. What does this building represent in Sibiu?
What are its iconic elements? Or the role it played in the story of the town?
These questions guided our process all along.
In the end, the archways of the old building became our greatest inspiration. After all, they are a symbol of connection and continuity, values that define the brand’s identity for Bolta Rece Sibiu.
Timeless Symbols for Bolta Rece
Our team at Crossline Marketing wanted to use 3 powerful elements for the heart of this identity:
- The Alder Tree: Representing growth and connection to the place nearest to the restaurant (The Alders Park)
- The Arched Windows: A respresentation of openness and connections
- The Historic Building: A testament to tradition and the deep roots from Sibiu’s heritage.
Together, these elements reflect the Magician archetype.
The archetype embodies transformation, mystery, and the power to create magical, sensory experiences.
A visual Story Told in Royal Green and Silver
For the brand’s color palette, we chose royal green and silver and aimed to mirror with this Bolta Rece’s stability, tradition, and sophistication.
- Royal Green: A tribute to the beauty surrounding the restaurant, blending the brand into its environment.
- Silver: A touch of refinement, symbolizing balance, sobriety, and the enduring of the name “Bolta Rece” (The Cool Arch).

Bolta Rece doesn’t want to just offer food. It will provide a full experience. Guided by the slogan “Time Enriches Flavor”/Timpul Îmbogățește Gustul, we wanted to invite everyone to rediscover flavors they know and love, while embracing new experiences.
